The Company:
An international EPC Company involved in many of the largest LNG and Mining Projects in the world.

The Role:
To promote safety awareness Incident Injury Free (hF) and safe performance at all times,
Providing specialist advice with respect to welding/metallurgy (exotic materials), heat treatment and or NDE requirements,
Provide assistance and direction to Welding Inspectors on BWI, assist in resolution of welding, NDE TO’s & NCRs.
Review and approval of weld procedures and welders qualifications plus supplier & Contractor document deliverables.
Inspection of works in progress to ensure compliance with specified requirements, codes and standards.
Ensure effective implementation of ITPs by the Contractor and attend applicable Witness and Hold points.
Regular review of quality records. radiographs & NDT Reports.
Ensure timely mark-up of As-built drawings and preparation MDR in accordance with approved MDR Index.
Monitoring & reporting contractors repair rates follow up actions results, maintain data base for reporting statistics.
Provide back up support for Radiograph interpretation of contractors film reviews with the client.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Hold internationally recognised professional and academic qualifications in Welding Engineering.
Minimum 15 years hands on experience as Welding Engineer on major construction projects.
Hold internationally recognised welding inspection qualifications, (CSWIP 3.2) with RT Interpretation
Minimum 10 years experience as Welding Inspector (including 3 as Senior) on major construction projects
Experience in the fabrication of large steel structures — specfIcaIly O&G load-out jellies or offshore marine structures.
Working knowledge of international codes and standards related to fabrication and welding of piping on steel structures, module hook ups.
Good understanding of QA/OC requirements for final documentation on oil & gas related construction projects.
Proactive approach to resolving quality issues.
Previous experience of working on LNG Prqects.

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
Formal safety training.
