The Company:
The client is a leader within the Automation and Control Systems field with operations in 100 countries worldwide. They specialise in providing integrated solutions to the Transmission and Distribution and Oil & Gas industry with projects offshore and overseas.

The Role:
• To organise logistics of service engineer provision in response to customer requirements
• To provide telephone contact with customers, both internal and external
• To portray a positive customer focus
• To gather data for invoicing and to prepare draft invoices
• To prepare appropriate manpower plans

To allocate specific engineers, taking into account:

• Pertinent training / qualifications
• Availability
• Competence

• To obtain purchase orders and to verify their validity
• To liaise with clients regarding travelling logistics, accommodation, etc
• To liaise with engineers, project managers and managers.
• To prepare and issue quotations for service work.
• To follow up quotations.
• In co-operation with engineers and technician to arrange tools, and materials
• To maintain a register of the location of each engineer
• To prepare a plan of future requirements highlighting potential problems
• To ensure all timesheets are submitted on time and accurately
• To ensure that all work is accounted for and to prepare draft invoices
• To log all invoices and prepare monthly reports as required
• To maintain system and job files
• Other duties as specified by the Operations Manager or the Coordination Team Learder

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
GENERAL QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
Typically BTEC qualified with a minimum of 2 years experience in a clerical or secretarial support role. Secretarial and non-technical clerical support staff.
