The Company:
Our client is a leading provider of mobile financial and value added services.

The Role:

  • Learn in detail the existing infrastructure and application architecture for all components
  • Quickly become an expert in the products and features we offer
  • Assist and support in deployments with on-site presence as required
  • Engage and facilitate Low Level Integration discussions
  • Serve as an escalation point for critical/major events
  • Responsible for the rapid assessment of both the nature and severity of problems to evaluate appropriate response, engages various support organizations to provide that response
  • Troubleshoot network, software, connectivity and interconnected systems issues to resolve problems promptly
  • Update and close trouble tickets as required to track progress of task/incident resolution
  • Maintain case ownership and keep customers informed of progress on their issues by contacting them periodically with updates.
  • Maintain clear understanding of the interdependencies that problem, change and configuration managements processes have on good incident management practices.
  • Work independently with a focused direction while adding value and contributing to overall team performance.


  • Bachelor Degree in Computer Science
  • 6+ years of experience working in IT
  • 3+ years of Service Operations Support or DevOps experience
  • Expertise in deploying and operating JBoss, Asterisk and OpenSIPs
  • In depth understanding of TCP/IP LAN/WAN networking technologies and troubleshooting techniques using wireshark
  • Must have experience working with SQL and/or Postgres databases, as well as shell scripting
  • VMWare and vSphere experience with Virtual Servers is highly desired
  • Software and Application packaging and deployment experience is desired
  • Must be able to work in a 24X7 environment, available to work evenings and weekends on an on-call rotational basis
  • Solid written communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Strong customer services/satisfaction ethic.
