The Company:
World-leading provider of power systems and services, with a strong position in global markets - aerospace, marine and energy.

The Role:
Under limited supervision, independently carry out maintenance, repairs and some diagnosis on Marine equipment with limited technical support with the aim of minimising equipment downtime to ensure customer satisfaction. Hold responsibility for ensuring that specific maintenance programmes are professionally administered on a day-to-day basis through on-site liaison with the customer and maintaining technical service records upon completion.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
CREA-RJ certificate is mandatory.

Should be able to independently undertake the following:

· Undertake relevant routine maintenance, repair and commissioning work on Marine equipment in accordance with the maintenance contract(s).
· After disassembly, clean, inspect and evaluate the parts need for repair / replacement, carrying out repair work on well-defined problems, with some technical support.
· Direct and lead a team on service operations repair work where necessary.
· Verify dimensions and clearances to ensure conforming to specification.
· Conduct tests and inspections to QA/QC standards.
· Read blueprints, schematics, diagrams and technical order to determine methods and sequences of assembly.
· Inspect, analyse, record calibration results and produce Service and Technical Reports.
· Ensure that all work is done in accordance with applicable legal and Company procedures and instructions, including Health & Safety policies.
· Create an appropriate customer contact

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
· Strong verbal communication and written reporting skills in English language. Intermediate level
· Basic IT skills.
· Some commercial awareness.
· Propulsion mechanical maintenance, major overhaul and troubleshooting background.
· Experience with Propulsion units, such as shaft lines, tunnel and azimuth thrusters maintenance and major overhaul.
