The Company:
Our client is an Engineering Services company, who are an international technical consultancy, providing a range of services including licence to operate, asset management, manufacturing improvement and capital investment to customers in the chemical, petrochemical, oil & gas, pharmaceutical, manufacturing and consumer industries worldwide

The Role:
Lead the team in the delivery of a service agreement for major automotive customer. Support team in implementing program management principles, methodologies, tools and techniques. Support and implement effective program management practices to create an organizational synergy around the program that adds value, dependably and repeatability.

1. Service Program team
Leads the Service program team to a common goal and purpose - i.e. drives efficiency and effectiveness, improves cash and profitability in alignment with the business goals and targets. Defines organization of the program in coordination with service contracts manager by ensuring we have right resource based on competencies, demand and availability.
2. Procedures and Standards Leads the service program team making sure that procedures and standards are followed. Develops, and continuously improves standard processes and ways of working by applying external best practices to internal environment and experience.
3. Maintenance of standards Ensures the lessons learned during program execution are incorporated as part of continual improvement.
4. Program execution Supervises program execution and performance through scheduled program reviews with management and team members to ensure adherence to contract and approves program deviations (costs or technical-operational solutions). Takes an active role in escalated customer issues and determines corrective actions in order to optimize the program performance.
5. Program closure Ensures the portfolio of the program follows good methodology and execution practices in accordance with internal standard procedures, and program is closed as per contract entered with Customers.
6. Stakeholder relations Builds and maintain relationships with key internal and external stakeholders, consulting on revenues planning, resource planning, and other program execution issues. Serves as an escalation point for systemic program management issues.
7. Program portfolio planning, and execution tracking and reporting
Ensures the portfolio of programs follows good program planning methodology and execution tracking and reporting practices as per contracts entered with Customers.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
• Knowledge and experience of the Automotive industry
• Knowledge and experience of the culture within ABB and an ability to harness that for the benefit of the program performance.
