The Role:
Fircroft are seeking a Quality Engineer for a long term contract with an Oil & Gas operator within the UK

Duration: 12 months rolling contract
Location: Bristol
Hours: Monday-Friday (40 Hours a week)
Office based role, with some travel around Europe.

This position is responsible for facilitating the development and effective implementation of the Project Quality Management System by the Project Team, SEV contractor, suppliers, sub-suppliers and subcontractors.
The Project Quality Engineer must:
Ensure project quality plans and procedures relevant to Phase 3 (FEED) are developed and implemented in compliance with CPMS
Ensure quality management process controls are established, implemented on the project consistent with criticality, statutory, and contractual obligations.
Ensure effective planning and implementation of verification, validation and review activities relevant to the FEED Contractors.
Ensure effective interface with project engineering to support the development of Performance Standards associated to the project Verification Scheme .
Ensure effective planning for implementation of Phase 4 governance and oversight relevant to verification, inspection and testing activities for procurement, fabrication, construction, assembly, testing, for subsea, greenfield and brownfield scopes.
Ensure effective implementation of concessions, non-conformance, corrective action, and preventive action management processes stewarding a collaborative approach to resolving and reducing deficiencies within processes and / or products to prevent errors reaching the field. Effective communication with and issue resolution with Contractor, suppliers, vendors and subcontractors.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Experience working within the Oil & Gas industry
Experience working in a similar role
Subsea experience
