The Role:
I. Job Summary
Manages daily shorebase planning and operations. An experienced professional that requires limited supervision.

II. Essential Duties and Responsibilities
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Other minor duties may be assigned.

• Manages overall shore base activity planning and ensures alignment with drilling and SCM objectives
• Supervises daily shore base operations
• Assists Supply Chain with initial operational readiness
• Liaises with rig and management teams to coordinate daily vessel and aircraft operations
• Coordinates, manages, and documents movement of the company and contractor inventory
• Supervises vessel loading and unloading operations and disposition of materials
• Dispatches vessels for bulk fuel and mud loading operations
• Establishes daily plan for movement, maintenance/inspection, and storage of materials using accepted material handling practices, lifting operations, and pipe yard operations
• Provides HSSE oversight to shore base operations, including PPE, toolbox discussions, land transport activity, and compliance with lifting standards and certification requirements
• Prepares reports as required, including vessel movement, fuel consumption, bulk tank status, 5-day forecasts, etc.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
A. Knowledge, Skills, or Abilities

• In-depth experience with vessel loading techniques, mud handling, tank cleaning, and fueling
• Excellent working knowledge of oilfield equipment
• Superior knowledge of vessel and aircraft operations
• Strong interpersonal, communication and leadership skills
• Interest in or experience working with a culturally diverse team
• Experience mentoring others
• Intermediate computer skills, including email, Microsoft Word, and Microsoft Excel
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multi-disciplined team in a high-performance environment

B. Education and Experience

• Required: 15+ years E&P field supervisor experience
• Preferred: More than 20 years E&P field supervisor experience

C. Certificates, Licenses, Registrations, or Other Requirements

• Material handling certification
