The Company:
Our Client appears in the FTSE 100 index and is an international energy services company specializing in Oil and Gas and has annual revenues of over £2.6 billion. They believe that it is the people that drive their success, from Project Managers, Project Engineers, consultants to designers and commercial personnel. They work globally employing over 20,000 people on major operations including the UK.

The Role:
• The Client has a position for a Shutdown Coordinator for 3 to 4 months on the Hummingbird contract which will report to the Operations Superintendant.

• Responsibility for the safe delivery of planned Shutdown and meeting the critical success factors.

Main Duties:
• Responsible for the development of the Shutdown Execution Plan and generating workpacks covering technical issues, isolations, advising on manpower and materials aspects of agreed Shutdown workscopes.
• Responsible, with the assistance of the Offshore Management Team, for the delivery of the Shutdown, continually assessing risk and safety actions and amending priorities as the shutdown develops.
• Responsible to the Operations Superintendant for ensuring identified actions are being progressed on schedule, monitoring of potential impacts to Shutdown preparations and preparing and maintaining TAR networks and plans.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
• Engineering Qualification.
• Ability to manage sub-contractors.
• Team Player.
• Good communicator.
• Proactive approach to resolving difficult situation.
• Extensive experience within the Oil and Gas Industry, preferably engineering/maintenance background with supervisory experience.
• Good project engineering skills.
• Basic operations understanding.
