The Role:
Materials movement focal point for CNS shutdown materials.
Work with shutdown and integrated planning team to understand integrated plan priorities. Interface with Operations Planners, Projects Material Controllers and Logistics, in the event of potential conflicts regarding shipment of materials, so that priorities are discussed, identified, agreed and closed out prior to shipment.
Create a Material tracker for the robust management and control of shutdown materials, so that work order components can be tracked, expedited, receipted, consolidated and stored in advance of planned shipment dates.
Work with Procurement Buyers and Expeditor on a regular basis to ensure materials required to be purchased are identified and ordered, recognising supplier lead times, to ensure delivery to the warehouse on time.
Ensure materials required for shutdown that can be sourced from inventory are identified and issued to the respective work orders.
Work with 3rd Party Vendors to ensure delivery and shipment of planned materials & equipment.
Ensure that all changes to planned material movements are effectively communicated to ensure that all related personnel movements and operational plans are suitably amended.
Check off all materials required for shutdown at the warehouse and ensure they are all packed, tagged and shipped for each respective shutdown work order.
Follow the materials offshore and supervise the unpacking of the materials offshore such that they can be issued to each discipline thus enabling work to commence in line with the plan.
Will coordinate shutdown related returns from offshore and supervise their return to the Edzell warehouse for stocking or initiate disposal as appropriate.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Experience of logistics support to the offshore Oil and Gas industry.
Ability to work effectively across all levels of the organisation in an influencing role.
Comprehensive understanding of Materials & Logistics processes to include base/quayside, marine and aviation activities.
Strong communication skills – both written and verbal.
Strong user of Excel and SAP.
Good understanding of offshore construction projects and multi-location activities
Conflict resolution and Facilitation skills
Knowledge of Manual Handling Techniques
Experience of Warehouse Procedures
Offshore experience preferable and must have live BOSIET and medicals to enable deployment offshore.
