The Company:
An Australian based company with a global reputation as a leading services provider to the resources, energy and processing industries requires the knowledge and experience of a proven Shutdown Planner for a short-term, site based role.

The Role:
Based in Gladstone, the purpose of the Shutdown Planner will be to manage the scheduling and planning on a shutdown period of a large chemical processing facility. Due to the nature of the project, it is important that the successful candidate shares a zero harm approach as they will be acting as a key safety interface with clients and project staff. The role will offer FIFO terms to site for the duration of the contract, with Brisbane as the point of origin.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
- 5+ years planner experience, ideally in an EPCM environment
- Proven experience in oil & gas or mining and similar industries
- Tertiary qualifications in a relevant field
- Strong working knowledge of SAP (Work Order System experience), Project Builder and MS Project and Excel
- Effective communication skills with ability to liaise with key project personnel
- Strong approach to safety
- Australian PR or citizenship with the ability to interview / start at short notice
