The Role:
To develop, maintain and report progress against the long, medium and detailed short term TAR plans for each of the assets working the asset and E&C contractor planners to dovetail the TAR plans in with the assets.

Responsibilities and Tasks;
Using client planning system for intergration with the asset plans.
Part of the Asset planning process to ensure adequate shutdown prepartion, ramp down and start-up activities captured in the asset plan and avoidance of high risk activities before the shutdown commencement.
Bringing in the planning learnings from the previous shutdowns.
Developing the plan stages in accordance with the shutdown stage gate process.

Logic challenge of plan
Risk reviews of plan
Probabilistic analysis of plan
Travelling offshore, before and potentially during the shutdown to help get buy-in and understanding of the plan and working to the plan.
Managing PoB control up to and during the shutdown including representing PoB needs in the Asset plan for pre-shutdown activities and post shutdown tidy up.
Compile the Shutdown Plan showing milestones & Phases, critical path, activity logic, resource histograms, implementation progress and amendmenets to plan
Liaise with all focal points Onshore & Offshore for acitivity detail information.
During shutdown implementation to generate Daily Progress Report template, update the shutdown schedule & produce progressed plan and generate 'S' curves of total and critical path scopes.
Capturing planning learnings for input into the shutdown lessons learnt review.
Developing long term shutdown plans and identifying the impact on future shutdowns of moving work into/out of the within year shutdown scopes.
Manage if any temporary shutdown planners

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Senior Planner with Shutdown planning experience in the Oil industry
Experience of P6 and Pertmaster preferred.
Experience of working offshore preferred.
Ability to go offshore essential
HNC or higher qualifications preferable.
