The Company:
Our Client is a global Oil & Gas Operator with a strong presence in Western Australia

The Role:
Our client is looking for a Shutdown Quality Lead to join their team and be responsible for addressing all quality related risks associated with a major shutdown.

The scope will include developing quality procedures and strategies. Evaluating and confirming the quality of subcontractors materials/equipment to be used in permanent installations. You will aslo be responsible for ensuring the quality of implementation work packs and pre-commissioning/testing. This will also include non-conformance reporting.

This role will require the position holder to be able to travel both to the warehouse facility in Darwin, and also to offshore facilities.

The successful candidate will hold as a minimum post trade qualifications in a related fireld such as metallurgy or NDT, with a particular emphasis being placed on materials selection, manufacturing methodologies, testing and quality control.

For this role it is essential that you hold a valid TBOSIET certificate

Formal training in quality or quality auditing would be highly desirable.
