The Company:
Our Client is an International Oil and Gas Operator involved in 2 of Australia's largest LNG Projects based in Western Australia. The Role:
We are looking for experienced E&I SIMOPS Advisors to join a global Oil & Gas major, working on one of Australia's leading LNG projects. On offer is a site based position working on a desirable FIFO - 14/14 Rotation ex-Perth. This role will see you become a key member of the companies PTW / SIMOPS Team and will report directly to the iCSU SIMOPS Controller.

Key job responsibilities include but will not be limited to:
60%
• Assist the I&C SIMOPS Surveillance effort, providing oversight and assurance for all Instrumentation & Controls activities.
• Ensure implementation of Plans, Procedures and documentation.
• Interface with the parties executing I&C work in the assigned area (Construction, Commissioning and Operations) to ensure work that involves I&C permits & SIMOPS is consistently identified, assessed and mitigated to allow safe and efficient execution.
• Provide support to the Contractor teams in the deployment and monitoring of I&C PTW / SIMOPS Controls.
• Action I&C PTW / SIMOPS risks in cooperation with executing parties.
• Carry out regular audits to verify that I&C PTW / SIMOPS controls and isolations are in place and effective.
• Participate in I&C liven up walk downs to verify isolations as required.
• Communicate with and advise local area teams on I&C PTW / SIMOPS issues.
• Participate in meetings for parties executing work.
• Participate in daily/weekly SIMOPS planning meetings.
• Compile and maintain the PTW register of I&C work.
• Assist with the Process and Safety Systems override register management.
• Reviewing work packs to ensure process and safety system overrides are managed in accordance with site policies and procedures.

• Support the overall I&C PTW / SIMOPS processes
• Liaise with Construction, Commissioning & Operations Teams
• Participation in (PSSR) pre-start up safety reviews and pre-start walk-downs as required

• Support PTW/SIMOPS Training when required
• Participate in HSE Management System Audits, Loss Prevention Inspections (LPI), System Verification (SV) & assurance programs as required
• Meet department Key Performance Indicators

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
• Broad technical and HES skills with in-depth working knowledge of Control System SIMOPS / PTW commissioning and construction operations
• 10+ years broad-based I&C SIMOPS experience including 5 + Years Permit to Work & Isolation Experience
• Must have, one or more, LNG, Complex Hydro/Chemical Processing, Hydrocarbon processing or Complex Hydro Metallurgical processing experience.
• Ability to work under pressure and adapt in a challenging work environment
• Provide high performance both individually and in a team environment
• Technical document writing experience
• Ability to read P&ID’s, Single Line Diagrams and Control System / Logic drawings
• PTW / SIMOPS development exposure
• Construction, Commissioning and Operational SIMOPS / PTW experience
• High level of proficiency with Excel, Word and Power Point
• Proficient with MS Access 2007 and above
• Very good verbal communication skills
• Excellent written communication and report writing skills
