The Role:
Key Role

To support the site construction Management, the Project Controls Specialist and Lead Planning Engineer in the analysis, verification and reporting of the Contractor’s progress and the identification of potential issues to recommend corrective actions.

Responsibilities

• Provide planning support to the Facilities Site Based Construction Management Team and the Lead Planning Engineer
• Monitor the Contractor’s progress and performance and construction progress throughout the construction stage up to Start Up, including verification of progress in support of interim valuations. Ensure rules of credit are correctly applied to reported progress completion measurements & in the level 3 construction schedule and compliance with the PCP.
• Monitor delivery of free issue materials and delivery of AFC design in accordance with Contract requirements.
• Develop and maintain an integrated schedule for the all facilities construction activities including interfaces with 3rd party contractors/vendors, mechanical completion and commission support

MAIN ACTIVITIES & KEY DELIVERABLES:

• Work closely with the Facilities Construction Contractors during the development of their Contract Level 3 & 4 Control Programs to ensure compliance with all Project Milestones, critical interfaces and adherence to the Project Control Procedure.
• Develop weekly and monthly reporting regimes in conjunction with the Tbilisi based Lead Planning Engineer Facilities and prepare weekly and monthly site construction progress reports.
• Monitor the Contractor’s progress and performance throughout the construction stage up to Start Up. Maintain records capable of alerting the Project of any adverse trends.
• Work closely with the Project Control Specialist to ensure that the BOQ is updated regularly to reflect total scope. Also that the detail construction schedule includes all BOQ scope.
• Support Facilities Lead Planning Engineer in maintenance of the MCS
• Provide input into ‘what-if' studies for recovery of schedule delays.
• Input to the risk analysis reviews of the integrated schedule to highlight potential areas of high risk and uncertainty.
