The Company:
Our Client is an International Oil and Gas Operator involved in 2 of Australia's largest LNG Projects based in Western Australia. The Role:
• Functionally accountable to the BWI Planning & Reporting Manager on all matters concerning planning, analysis, trending, reporting and potential risk mitigation and opportunities for the nominated scope area.
• Line accountability to Execution Manager/Area Project Manager for nominated scope area on all matters concerning planning, analysis, trending and schedule risk/opportunities
• Support and reinforce schedule ownership by Execution Management

Tasks include:-
• Provide regular planning and schedule analysis and insights from Contractor Level 4 and 5 Schedule to Execution and Site based Planning leadership including upcoming schedule risks, opportunities
• Monitor progress in nominated scope areas to determine trends and to assist in forecasting. Review project quantity reports for accuracy and undertake schedule variance analysis as required
• Prepare and maintain detailed schedules including analytical review of critical paths and project float as required by Execution Manager and Planning Manager
• Attend regular and frequent meetings with Contractors in support of Execution Manager for nominated scope areas
• Engage with Contractors on behalf of Execution Manager to ensure accuracy and credibility in forward planning and to validate actual planned activities and status
• Take lead in producing Level 5 and lower schedules as requested and in support of Execution Manager and Planning Manager
• Adhere to established Planning Procedures and Schedule Management process as directed by the Planning Manager
• Contribute as required to weekly and monthly project reporting as directed by Planning Manager.
• Evaluate scope changes, additional work orders and other elements. Support constructability reviews on site as required
• Support transition from an area based Construction schedule to a system based schedule through Precommissioning period and into Commissioning

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
• Experienced Primavera P6 Planner with onshore construction and precommissioning knowledge
• Previous experience working as part of Owner’s team in major oil and gas field development.
• Phase 4 experience in LNG plant construction
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills
• Competent data base and spreadsheet skills.
• Familiar with construction erection methods and sequencing.
• Familiar with materials procurement, tracking and control methods.
• Familiar with transition procedures from area construction schedules to commissioning/system based schedules
