The Company:
Our client, a diverse Canadian Energy Company, plans new developments estimated at $12+ Billion over the next 5 years.

This position is open to Canadian Citizens and Permanent Residents only. Residents of Newfoundland & Labrador will be given first consideration for this position.

The Role:
The Site Cost Analyst is a support resource to the Lead Site Cost Controller in providing support to ensure cost management targets and objectives are fulfilled. As the Site Cost Analyst, you will be responsible for tracking and verifying all reimbursable costs incurred for work scopes on the
Muskrat Falls work site, with primary focus on the contract for the Powerhouse, Intake, Spillway and Transition Dams. You will be responsible for collection, verification and archiving of LEMs (Labour, Equipment & Material sheets) and verifying the associated costs.

Duties as the Site Cost Analyst will include the following:

Daily Duties
• Receive daily contractor timesheets and other Labour, Equipment & Material sheets.
• Verify personnel on timesheets against available databases such as security gate records, camp records, possible future site brassing system, etc.
• Review contractor timesheets and payroll data for completeness and accuracy. Resolve issues with the contractor.
• Obtain Project reviews and approvals.
• Maintain a digital and hardcopy records.

Weekly Duties
• Weekly check of filed approved timesheets against the Contractor's Master Timesheet log.
• Complete review of weekly payroll registers from Contractors with reimbursable contract labour. Reconcile against approved timesheets.
• Resolve weekly payroll register issues with the contractor and the applicable personnel.
• File the approved weekly payroll register digitally and a hardcopy.
• Review daily Labour, Equipment & Material sheets summaries from contractors performing reimbursable change order work.
• File the approved daily Labour, Equipment & Material sheets summaries digitally and a hardcopy.
• If requested perform random Contractor personnel (Site/Office) audits on a weekly or bi-weekly basis.

Monthly Duties
• Assist Cost Control & Contract Administration in reviewing payment certificates and invoices for reimbursable contract work and/or reimbursable change orders.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Post-Secondary degree, diploma or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
• Experience in accounting is required.
• Experience in working in a construction project environment (craft or site office) is an asset.
• Ability to meet deadlines and perform in a demanding work environment.
• Highly organized and detail oriented.
• Highly proficient in the application of Microsoft Excel software.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills (English).
