Major Client in the Oil and Gas Industry

The Role:
MISSIONS

Monitor Contractor and sub Contractors site electrical and instrumentation activities related to the construction of the FPSO water treatment module.

1. Support and enforce the HSEQ project objectives and directives
2. Review / Monitor / Approve Contractor and sub Contractors Electrical and Instrumentation documentation, activities, and records, within his own discipline ensuring that: - Consistency is maintained with the work as performed at FPSO main fabrication yard. - Shop drawings, procedures, and fabrication engineering are in compliance with the approved design and project specifications. - Material and equipment is available, properly stored, preserved and maintained. - Schedule requirements are met in terms of availability of, fabrication engineering, material locally procured or free issue, yard manpower and resources, etc. - Construction activities are executed in a timely manner and with the required level of quality. - Inspection and tests are performed as per approved ITP and recorded.
3. Liaise with his Company counterparts and discipline leaders at main Topsides fabrication yard to ensure consistency is maintained with other sites
4. Be proactive, identify and troubleshoot technical problem , report areas of concern and deficiencies, propose remedial action, monitor implementation of the same.
5. Maintain contact and good relationship with his Contractor and sub contractors’ counterparts.
6. Review and comment on Contractor reported progress and take his share in Site team reporting.
7. Participate to technical or coordination meeting as necessary to fulfil his job responsibilities.
8. Interface with other site team members, Safety, QC, and report to Company Site leader
9. Undertake other works which might be necessary as requested by Site Leader.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Professional Experience:
 8 years experience in a similar position in a multi-discipline project team environment.
 Good written and verbal communication skills.
 Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with people.
