The Company:
Our Client is a well established leading Australian construction company with a multi-disciplinary capability across the mining, energy and resource industries. They have recently won on-going maintenance contracts and are looking to employ an experienced Site Electrical Engineer with hazardous areas experience.

The Role:
The responsibilities of the role are as follows:-

- Ensure that the electrification systems reflect the clients approved design and all applicable regulatory and code guidelines
- Utilise current engineering practices to ensure the safe execution of construction, installation and commissioning activities.
- Conduct construction methods analysis, identify changes in the scope of works and identify/report on any required variations.
- Participate in technical and progress reviews with the Client.
- Completion of all relevant progress reporting, documentation and data.
- Implement and promote relevant HSEQ policy and procedures throughout the site.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
To be considered for this role you must have:

- An Engineering Degree in electrical or electronic fields
- Further qualifications in instrumentation or electrical engineering would be highly advantageous but not essential
- Formal Qualification in Hazardous Areas (EEHA)
- Extensive Experience in a wide range of Electrical Equipment
- Extensive Experience on-site as part of construction and commissioning LNG/CSG Infrastructure
- Ability to interpret and understand design drawings
- Strong problem solving and technical aptitude
- A high level of attention to detail
- Excellent Communication and Interpersonal Skills
- Advanced working knowledge of engineering software
