The Company:
Our Client is an International Oil and Gas Operator involved in 2 of Australia's largest LNG Projects based in Western Australia. The Role:
An opportunity has become available for an Environmental Advisor to monitor compliance with statutory requirements.

Your duties will include but not limited to:

• Communicate any environmental incidents, events or near misses to the Perth Environment Team as soon as practicable within regulatory reporting timeframes

• Incident notification and reporting in accordance with Company’s IIR Process (IMPACT) and Statutory requirements

• Maintain incident register (for non-reportable events, near misses and incidents)

• Statutory EMP/Regulatory Approvals Rollouts onsite to relevant personnel

• Participate in Contractor environmental incident investigations

• Maintain clear lines of communication with the Perth Environment Team on a frequent basis

• Develop and maintain Audit/Inspection Schedule for all worksites and maintain an Action Tracking Register for any actions arising from the inspections

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Ideally you will have the ability to demonstrate knowledge, capability and competence in the following commercial, technical and interpersonal aspects:
• Minimum of 5 years relevant experience
• Environmental contractor management
• Vessel and dredge environmental management
• Compliance and assurance

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
• Strong organizational, interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
• Practical knowledge of relevant Western Australian and Commonwealth environmental legislation is essential
