The Company:
Our Client is an International Oil and Gas Operator involved in 2 of Australia's largest LNG Projects based in Western Australia.

The Role:
Job Description:

• Ensure that contractor’s fabrication complies with Company Specifications and Technical Requirements, behavioral based safety practices, governmental regulations and industry codes for offshore oilfield projects.
• Ensure that the fabrication schedule is achieved.
• Keep Company’s Project Management Team informed of safety issues, progress, contractual issues, concerns, etc.
• Ensure that the final documentation (fabrication records) provided by contractor are complete and accurate.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
A degree in an engineering discipline or equivalent is desired. However, additional experience may be substituted for an engineering degree.

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
•10+ years experience in oilfield production facility fabrication oversight or 15+ years experience in offshore fabrication QC with a minimum of 5 years as Lead Inspector.
• Understands and applies Owner Company practices, behavioral based safety practices, governmental regulations and industry codes on offshore oilfield projects.
• International construction experience required (particularly in less developed countries).
• Experience in the fabrication and QA/QC oversight of a lump sum EPCI contractor for a major project is required.
• Experience in selecting and managing inspectors is required.
• Fluency in Corporate specifications, Industry Codes and Standards and other general industry QA/QC practices is required.
• Understanding of non-destructive examination (NDE) techniques and able to coordinate application of NDE on projects is desired.
• Prior Site Management of an offshore fabrication facility is desired.
