The Company:
Our Client is an International Company involved in the supply of Energy globally. Their Operations cover Exploration, Production and Downstream and at present they have projects in over 25 Countries worldwide.
In Australia they are involved in one of the Country's largest LNG Projects, including both Gas and Condensate which is currently in Execution Stage.

The Role:
To be the client HSES representative during fabrication in Batam, Indonesia.
Key Technical Deliverables
• Support integration of validation, safety engineering and occupational safety across the URF (Umbilicals / Risers / Flow lines) Package work scope.
Risk and Safety
• Develop HSE input for contracting and execution activities within the URF Package.
• Ensure that HSE obligations are documented and delivered within the URF Packages – review Contractor deliverables.
• Monitor URF Package contractors.
• Ensure all risks and obligations in the HAZID (Hazard Identification Studies) register are appropriately mitigated and up-to-date.
• Support HSE management across the URF Package in Batam Indonesia

• Act as HSE ‘coach’ to the URF site team and contractors.
Safety Health and Environment
• Conduct all activities in a safe and efficient manner in accordance with the Company’s policies and procedures.
• Ensuring the welfare of personnel and the protection of assets and the environment at all times.
• Work with URF Package and HSE colleagues to develop and support HSE programs.
• Develop and implement HSE plans, processes and procedures as part of the Project Management and Business Management Systems.
• Support the development and delivery of a positive safety culture.
• Influence the delivery of superior HSE outcomes within the URF Package contractor activities.
• Support the implementation of the URF Package HSE Management Plan: Execution Phase as part of the overall offshore project.
• Monitoring activities to support the EPCI Contractor HSE performance and provide reporting as required.
• Champion any Ichthys Project or Company's HSE programs or initiatives
• Participate as required in the Emergency Response Team.
• Complete an annual Personal Safety Commitment Statement that identifies and documents the actions and behaviours that ‘I will’ and those ‘I will not’ and aligns with Company's HSE Culture.
• Support, promote and comply with the Ichthys Project Health, Safety and Environment Charter – Best in Industry HSE Culture.
• Personally commit to the Company's HSE Culture by familiarising yourself with those Team Leader/Supervisor Behaviours – Standards (Ensure Compliance), Communication (Encourage the team), Risk Management (Promote risk awareness) and Involvement (Involve the team).
• Demonstrate empathetic team work as a member of a culturally diverse organization.
• Support the URF Fabrication Manager as required.
• Support the URF HSE Manager as required.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
• Industry qualifications (minimum: NEBOSH or equivalent industry certification).
• Auditor training.
• Incident Investigation (Taproot or equivalent).
• BBS/Safety Culture development.
• Management of contractors.
• Participation in HAZIDs.
• Support management system documentation development.
• Incident Investigation.
• Auditing.
• Liaison with key stakeholders i.e. contractors, sub-contractors, suppliers.
• 10 years’ work experience.
• 5 years’ HSE experience in heavy fabrication/construction.
