The Company:
Our Client is an International Company involved in the supply of Energy globally. Their Operations cover Exploration, Production and Downstream and at present they have projects in over 25 Countries worldwide. In Australia they are involved in one of the largest LNG Projects, including both Gas and Condensate which is currently in FEED (Front End Engineering Design) Stage.

The Role:
Our client is currently recruiting for a Site HSE Manager. Reporting to the Construction Manager you will be responsible for the management of the EPC Contractor's HSE performance; providing HSE assurance across Darwin work packages; and supporting the Darwin HSE team members and package managers. You will also be responsible for implementing the Company Australia HSE program requirements and has reporting obligations through the HSE function.

Key responsibilities of this position include:
• Provide support, assurance and expert advice on matters relating to HSE management systems to achieve HSE objectives and performance targets.
• Implement expectations detailed within the LNG Project HSEMP and Onshore LNG Facilities HSEMS.
• Monitor the implementation of EPC contractor HSE leading indicators, objectives and targets, performance standards, monitoring and verification programmes, to ensure the Company HSE expectations are being achieved by contractors and sub-contractors across the Onshore packages in Darwin.
• Support Lead HSE Advisors to implement HSE processes, procedures, plans and Emergency Management documentation, aligned with Project and the Company requirements for each package through the various phases of the project.
• Maintain and implement a HSEMS audit plan as part of the integrated Audit and Assurance schedule. Plan and Lead HSEMS Audits.
• Assure development of HSE culture within the Onshore Division and alignment with the rest of the business.
• Develop and deliver HSE training packages for the Company team as appropriate.
• Work with colleagues to deliver integrated solutions to HSE risks and issues.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
• Tertiary qualification related to Occupational Health and Safety.
• Business Management qualifications desirable.
• OHS Auditor qualifications.
• Minimum 10 years relevant professional experience within major projects.
• Understanding of the project development process through FEED, EPC, Fabrication and Commissioning to Operations and the HSE considerations associated with each Project Phase.
• Experience in leading teams, coaching personnel, providing assurance and implementation of HSE systems on major projects at a Client and/or EPCM level.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, including the ability to network effectively with diverse stakeholders.

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
• Previous LNG experience is desirable.
