The Company:
Our client is a Multinational Chemical company which will construct, own and operate a world-scale integrated chemicals complex in Saudi Arabia. Once completed, the complex will represent the largest petrochemical facility ever built in a single phase. Our client will establish a world-scale manufacturing footprint that delivers a full range of value-added, performance products destined for the emerging markets of Asia Pacific, the Middle East, Eastern Europe and Africa.

The Role:
Develop expertise and capability within various supply chain departments on focus areas such as terminals & ports, packaging centers, tank farms and ensure they have access to industry best practices.
1. Apply knowledge and expertise to site logistics issues in order to improve workflow and maximize utilization.
2. Analyse existing work procedures and recorded failures to identify areas of improvement in policies & procedures as well as the supply chain network and suggest improvements.
3. Develop and lead plans to implement suggested improvements in target areas of the supply chain.
4. Provide coaching and guidance to front line team on work process, equipment, engineering, order to develop their skills and knowledge on logistics and supply chain design.
5. Coach and prepare site logistics operators to resolve technical and operational plant issues in order to avoid lengthy down times.
6. Identify and initiate action to remove plant barriers for effective implementation and application of new technologies.
7. Prepare supply chain divisions to effectively implement Integrated Management Systems.
8. Provide insights and expertise during audits and important customer visits.
9. Provide any necessary data/information requested by the customer service division in order to address customer issues and complaints.
10. Ensure that all principles, procedures and practices are strictly comply with EH&S guidelines, regulatory and permit requirements.
11. Perform any job-related activities as requested by the immediate supervisor/ manager.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
• Bachelor degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or any related field.
• APICS Certification recommended.
