Is a large operator working on major projects.

The Role:
ACTIVITIES
- Supervise camps and base logistics activities (trucks, handling/lifting…) in accordance with DGEP rules while optimizing costs and deadlines
- Implement and control the logistic support of the drilling rigs and seismic operations
- Ensure Proper material storage and physical stock management
- Ensure conformity of all lifting gear (outgoing / incoming) and other equipment in accordance with HSE rules
- Participate in the optimization of material transport means
- Manage staff of the base and identify its training needs

CONTEXT AND ENVIRONMENT
Start-up subsidiary requiring technical expertise, in addition to contractual preparation for the set-up and mobilization of drilling rigs and operation programs. High level of technical risks due to the exploration context and the complexity of the operations due to the location of the activities. In depth deployment of HSE procedures and policies captured for previous applications in drilling activities shared within The clients group.

ACCOUNTABILITIES
HSE
- Assume the role of RSES Delegate (Responsible for Safety and Environment on Site)
- Organize safety briefing and manage investigation of safety incidents until conclusive close out in cooperation with HSE department.
- Responsible for checking conformity of all lifting gear (outgoing / incoming) in accordance with HSE rules.
- Ensure that contractors are following and complying with Company rules.
Base and Material management
- Define and implement logistics operational structure, optimize it and control its effectiveness.
- Guarantee the delivery of materials according to the specifications of the group and the arrival condition.
- Ensure that material is safely stored according to Company rules.
- Manage annual and monthly inventories.
- Ensure that material provided from the base is in accordance with the user request.
- Operate the computer system SAP of stock movements according to the various posts (reception, releases, return, Scrap).
- Manage and supervise the maintenance of the base and the camps
Reporting / Audit / Method
- Maintain records and statistics to ensure accurate reporting, follow up KPI and implement adapted corrective actions
- Study, realize and implement operational procedures
- Participate in the implementation of material procedures
- Participate in the development of LSO referential (guidebooks, manuals, company rules)
Cost Control and Budgeting, Contract and procurement
- Contribute to the preparation of the budget

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Qualifications:
Mandatory: Technical Diploma or Bachelor of Engineering or 10 years of experience in Logistics activity or Oil & Gas
Experience:
Minimum 10 years experience in logistics operations and a suitable general knowledge in oil industry logistics
