The Company:
Our client is an Engineering Services company, who are an international technical consultancy, providing a range of services including licence to operate, asset management, manufacturing improvement and capital investment to customers in the chemical, petrochemical, oil & gas, pharmaceutical, manufacturing and consumer industries worldwide

The Role:
Shifts - Week 1 - Friday (9-5), Saturday (12-12), Sunday (12-12), Monday (9-5). Week 2 - Friday (9-5), Saturday (Nights 12AM till 12 Noon), Sunday (Nights 12AM till 12 Noon), Tuesday (9-5)

Be part of a team based on site to carry out maintenance of robots and controllers. Primary part of role is to carry out the planned maintenance leading a team of other engineers or working on your own. Due to production demands of customer this role is based around working unsocial hours. Using technical knowledge and skills you will support our program manager in developing practises, process to deliver this program to our customer.

1. Oversee 3rd Party labour
2. Ensure standards are maintained
3. Production start cover each week
4. Complete reports for each machine
5. Liaise with customer
6. Work program manager on scheduling/completion

Key Responsibilities and duties:
Project start up phase
• Fully Understand the contracts technical scope
• Develop process and standards for PPM
• Understand BMW standards for equipment
• Propose technology to deliver contract in efficient way
Resource Management
• Help to develop training plan for contractors
• Help to develop certification process for contractors
• On job evaluation of contractors
Delivery of Contract
• Support Long/Short Term planning
• Lead and motivate teams onsite
• Support Procurement of resource and consumables based on Long / Short term plan
• Assist Project Manager in defining process for Standard PPM
• Handling out of scope situations

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
• Knowledge and experience of the Automotive industry
• Knowledge and experience of the culture within and an ability to harness that for the benefit of the program performance.
• Forward thinking and proactive
• Team leadership and cooperation
