The Company:
Our client, a diverse Canadian Energy Company, plans new developments estimated at $12+ Billion over the next 5 years.

This position is open to Canadian Citizens and Permanent Residents only. Residents of Newfoundland & Labrador will be given first consideration for this position.

The Role:
Overall accountability for the materials management functions within marshalling yard(s) in support of
transmission line construction activities

As a Site Material Coordinator your main duties will involve:
• The Site Material Controllers are accountable to the project for the safe and efficient control of Company procured materials
• Resource planning and levelling to support incoming and outgoing materials in accordance with Project schedules and milestones
• Organizing and coordinating activities within the yard for receipt, storage and issuance of Company procured, free issue material
• Act as second in command to Marshalling Yard Manager
• Coordinate the staff, equipment and tools necessary for the management of Project procured, free issue material
• Accountable for the receipt, storage and management of Project procured material
• Responsible for the accuracy of inbound and outbound material movements to and from the yard
• Interface with Project procurement, expediting, logistics and construction to support supply chain activities

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
As a Site Material Coordinator you will have experience:
• Minimum Bachelor's degree with 3 to 5 years of material and logistics experience, or equivalent work experience
• Preference to candidates with prior project management training and experience
• Office facility generally in remote location, near construction activities, so ability to be based near site on rotation
• Will be required to work outside in various climatic conditions
• Yard operation to be five days a week, 10 hour days
• Frequent interface with home office material control, expediting, logistics and construction
