The Client is seeking an experienced Site Materials Manager to join there Northern Operations Materials Management team to work on large scale LNG Projects. Working with the existing team, the successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring all materials and equipment are defined, quantified and requisitioned in a timely manner in accordance with the project schedule. The successful candidate will be client focused, proactive, team orientated and posses a schedule driven attitude.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Candidates will posses:
• Relevant tertiary qualification with postgraduate qualifications or chartered membership preferred
• Substantial experience in material management and material control within a related filed - Oil and Gas preferred
• possess excellent management skills with the ability to manage large teams to plan, set goals, manage time, priorities, resources accountabilities, schedules and cost
• Proficient in the use of material management systems, preferably SmartPlant Materials and commonly used business software
• Posses an understanding of major technical, organisational, managerial and business issues related to materials management
• Understand project delivery processes and their relationship to material management
• Candidate must have existing rights to work in Australia
