The Company:
Our client is a leading engineering solutions provider for blue-chip companies in the UK.

The Role:
To work closely with stakeholders within the client team within set timeframes and milestones.
Forecasting and performance trending and other commercial duties as requested by the client.
Coordinate and administer sub-contractors in regards to delivery schedule
In particular the Site ME&I Commercial Manager will:
Be responsible for developing the commercial model on which future projects will be based, including:
Integrate the commercial inputs for project document deliverables from stakeholders, team members, Advisers and Consortium Partners. Manage the resulting interfaces;
Act as the alternate point of contact for legal, financial and technical advisers for projects;
Develop a working understanding of all aspects of the allocated projects (including technical, financial, commercial) to the extent that he/she can provide cover for other members of the project teams and have a full overview of the project and Business model to ensure a complete response to the client is provided. Including:
Supporting the Senior Commercial Manager on Strategic Business Case development;
Supporting the Operations Manager on the delivery of Approved project(s);
Work with the client commercial team to continually develop and improve commercial models and structured finance solutions;

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
The candidate should have a minimum of 10 years recent experience of commercial management and quantity surveying in highly regulated environment;
Experience of managing ME&I subcontracts is essential;
Nuclear experience is desirable, a valid P4 pass being a distinct advantage;
The candidate should ideally be degree qualified with, or working towards, RICS accreditation;
Be capable of working in a team where there will be a constant reassessment of responsibilities to meet the varying workloads, driven by Client demands;
Be a self-starter, able to use initiative in a non-hierarchical team;
Good analytic, numeric, literacy and inter-personal skills, and with the capacity to handle a very heavy information stream.

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
Nuclear experience is desirable
Degree Qualified or working towards
RICS accreditation
