The Company:

Our client is an International world renowned EPC (Engineering, procurement, construction) company. They have chosen to fabricate LNG plant production and storage modules as well as associated piping and racks in Lumut

The Role:
As the Site Planning Engineer in a PMC (Project Management Consultant) role, incumbent will be responsible for the coordinating the development, enhancement and monitoring of the detailed construction schedules prepared by the EPC Contractors.

Requirements:
• Review the schedules produced by the EPC Contractors and analyse / approve Contractor schedules, progress / performance and quantity data.
• Set up / conduct / facilitate routine meetings with Contractor representatives to review progress.
• Review the impact of EP deliverable status on the construction schedule and provide succinct analysis to the PMT / Construction Management on potential impacts to work fronts and key milestone dates.
• Provide schedule input to the development of any schedule interface dates for other projects being constructed alongside. Co-ordinate interfaces / hand-offs between the different contractors.
• Facilitate development of the commissioning schedule
• Facilitate the understanding and participation of the project/subcontract schedule reviews by Field Construction Team.
• Co-ordinate with Field supervision on the constructability input into the schedule.
• Support detailed schedule analysis and work around option planning as required.
Other duties include co-ordinating the input and timely issue of the Weekly and Monthly Construction Progress Report.

Knowledge and Experience:
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management or Business Administration, or equivalent experience.
• Hands on experience in Construction planning / scheduling on construction management.
• Knowledge of EPC, schedule logic and deliverables for schedule development required.
• Good understanding of physical progress and performance measurement systems for construction work is essential.
• Hands-on experience with Primavera P6 is required along with a working knowledge of Excel and Access.
