The Role:
Role description: The successful candidate will be assigned to a project supporting a Project Controls team that is responsible for the Cost, Schedule, Progress and Reporting functions. The Project Controls engineer / Planner shall be responsible of planning activities starting from the develop of the construction schedule using P6 and (but not limited to) maintaining/managing the progress measurement system, supporting the schedule update process, resource and man-hour reporting, efficiency and performance analysis. The candidate will be an interface among Client Main Contractor (FW) and Construction Team, aiding the project to plan, align and reach the targets. Aim is to obtain a clear project status every cut off (progress, schedule, forecast) the candidate will promptly advice the Project Team in case of deviation from the targets proposing the necessary corrective actions. The candidate will also monitor the material and mechanical equipment status, reporting the planned and current status (e.g. installation of equipment, piping dia-inches welded, cable pulled, etc), the forecast. Any issue shall be promptly reported.
Key Role & Responsibility:
• Responsible for Scheduling, Progress measurement and reporting during all phases of the project
• Interface coordination with all involved disciplines (Engineering, Procurement, Construction, Commissioning)
• Identify opportunities, risks and deviations
• Direct reporting to Project Management
• Visualization of actual project situation,
• Localization of areas of concern
• Able to quickly assimilate changes into project schedules and identify key project risks
• Commitment to identify, analyze and propose solutions to problems in a constructive and positive manner, suggesting corrective measures

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Field of Experience and Professional Qualification: • Experience in Project planning, Construction execution in Oil and Gas and Power industry • Good at communication with good leadership skills and able to deal with several contractors • Ability to plan and manage multiple tasks • Effective analytical & problem solving skills • Effective time management, presentation skill and proactive approach • Excellent computer skills (MS Office, Primavera P6). • Degree or experience of the above minimum 10 years. Must have: • Site/Field experience • Ability to produce level 1 to level 4 schedule • Progress measurement and progress analysis experience
