The Company:
Our Client is a major Oil and gas operator with operations though out the world.
The Role:
The Project Team Leader will be responsible for:
• Safe and efficient engineering and construction of the portfolio of major maintenance, fabric maintenance, demolition and investment projects.
• Provide leadership and management to the project engineering, fabric maintenance, tankage, construction and demolition teams (ca. 40 personnel).
• Providing a motivating environment for the team to work, which inspires a performance culture and innovating thinking.
• Implement the Capital Value Process for all works and establish and maintain project management metrics for all activities.
• Ensure that all activities are delivered in accordance with the appropriate company and national regulations and standards.
• Provide a longer term resource outlook to ensure that the site can effectively manage site project activities over the next 5 years.
• Work with the SVT Engineering and Operations teams to develop a realistic and deliverable suite of site project activities for delivery on an “in year” basis and on a longer 5 year basis.
• Provide assurance to the SVT Area Operations Manager that all major maintenance, TAR's, works projects and fabric maintenance are being executed efficiently and are meeting an agreed SoR, budget and plan.
• Member of site IMT on call rotas
• BRO for allocated Budgets (ca $100m in 2011)
Essential Skills / Qualifications:
• Experience with projects in a Brownfield onshore environment
• Qualified Engineer (B.Sc. or equivalent
