The Role:
Establish, implement and maintain a quality management system at site in assigned project and continually improve its effectiveness in accordance with Company- and regulatory requirements and the requirements of ISO 9001 Quality Management (QM) System Standard. Measure compliance and effectiveness through reviews, verification and audit activities

Primary Functions:
•Lead, coordinate and perform project quality activities. Coordinate and participate in regulatory supervisory activities.
•Ensure effective development, maintenance and high quality of project controlling documents such as PEP,project quality activities, Consent Applications to the Petroleum Safety Authorities or equivalent, Project Procedures and other project controlling documents.
•Ensure that all quality documents are in compliance with relevant Corporate directives, industry standards and UK laws and regulations, and also that all QA work processes are executed accordingly. Ensure that all deviations from such controlling documentation are documented according to non-conformities and corrective action procedures.
•Provide quality management consultation and support to Project Management and Teams in their efforts to achieve the specified quality, both in activities and products.
•Establish and maintain an overall QA audit plan .Ensure that internal and external QA audits, Quality Surveillance reviews and Verification activities are performed according to established plans. Ensure proper handling and resolution of all reported project non-conformities.
•Review and provide input to invitation to bid (ITB),contracts and other documents. Evaluate appropriate part of tenders for selection of contractors when relevant.
•Follow-up contractors and suppliers through reviews, verifications, surveillance and audit activities.
•Establish and maintain records to provide evidence of conformity to requirements, and of the effective operation of the quality management system, including maintaining a non-conformity system.
•Monitor Contractors/Vendors’ compliance to regulations, contract and quality management systems and report KPIs
•Establish COP`s surveillance activities based on contract strategy and criticality assessment

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Critical Skills:
1.Core Technical Experience
•Previous experience within Quality Assurance, Supplier Quality Surveillance and QS/QC at construction sites in the oil & gas industry, preferably from major capital projects for North Sea Operations.
•Preferably familiar with ConocoPhillips requirements.
•Proficient in use of IT applications such as Microsoft office
•Experience with Quality management systems development and evaluation

•University degree / B.Sc. or comparable education.
•Less formal education may be compensated with documented relevant experience.
3.Personal Characteristics
•Ability to work within a diverse cultural environment.
•Have demonstrated interpersonal / teamwork skills,and strong written and oral communication skills.
•Strong interpersonal, communication and team work skills.

4.Other Requirements
•In-depth knowledge of the Project Management System.
