The Company:
Our global leading client is seeking highly skilled, experienced & capable contract international employees to work on a large multinational complex oil & gas project.

The Role:
Our client is seeking an experienced Site QC Supervisor to be based at construction locations and will either be the sole Client presence on site or lead a team of inspection personnel (dependent on work scope).
The role is primarily quality biased but will require that additional responsibilities for construction management and HSSE are undertaken.

Key Responsibilities:
• Provides HSSE leadership for all team members working onshore in support of FPSO PSVM.
• Ensure Contractors perform all work as per Client’s Safety and Quality standards.
• Act as the Client responsible person on the worksite, attend Contractor meetings as required
• Responsible for co-ordination, monitoring and reporting of all aspects of the contracted work scope package(s).
• Responsible for the on-site supervision of Client HSSE and quality personnel on the worksite (where applicable).
• Ensuring compliance to Client’s prime Quality documentation and specifications and Contractors own design documentation.
• Direct and co-ordinate Client QC Inspector’s activities to verify that all equipment construction and testing is performed in accordance with the contract requirements.
• Regularly meet with Contractor’s Representatives to discuss and resolve HSSE, Quality and construction issues and to ensure a common understanding of contract requirements.
• Promote a co-ordinated approach to Quality activities and resources that will bring maximum benefit to the project.
• Prepare weekly construction and quality reports as directed by line management
• Ensure that both Client and Contractor’s Inspection & Test Plans H/H/M points and FAT’s are adhered to.
• Conduct personally or co-ordinate; witness and report on Subcontractor / Supplier Weld Procedure Qualifications / Welder Qualifications, perform general inspections including: material receiving inspection / documentation and certificate review, in -process manufacturing inspection (including Welding process review interventions / Fabrication / NDE operations), Testing, Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT), punchlisting, as-built preparation, and final documentation review and equipment release all in compliance with the requirements of Contract GoC specification.
• Participate in Quality Reviews & Audits of contractors / suppliers facilities, verification of process documentation to ensure compliance to agreed contract documentation. Carry out follow-up reviews to ensure audit findings are actioned and closed-out.
• Provide input to schedule planning, report progress and advise Construction manager of deviations from plan.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
• Extensive quality management and manufacturing experience in the Oil/Gas, Petrochemical Industries, including minimum previous experience in a supervisory position
• Must have good working experience in contractor / supplier quality management process, materials and manufacturing routines, including welding and materials in manufacture.
• Experience acting in the capacity of site representative or site manager preferred
• Recognized Senior Qualification in welding / fabrication processes, Codes and Standards i.e. API, DNV etc.
• Recognized Qualification in Non Destructive Testing practices i.e. RT Interpretation and AUT Experience
• Strong Understanding of Materials, Welding and Procedural Qualification
• Computer literate with proficiency in MS Word / Excel
