The Role:
• Contributes daily to the ongoing SHE performance at Site highlighting improvement areas and completing required SHE documents, BSafe Cards, etc.
• Reports to Offshore Quality Manager and predominantly responsible for management of Quality Control of pipeline construction and installation work scope.
• Reviews EPC Contractor’s and Subcontractors’ Quality documentation including Quality Manuals, Plans, Procedures and required submittals, including the identification of Company Inspection Points on Subcontractor Inspection and Test Plans.
• Participates in regular technical and progress meetings with Contractor / Subcontractor in collaboration with Construction & SHE specialists to ensure that Contractors / Subcontractor understand clearly the Project and / or specific equipment quality assurance requirements.
• Maintains firm and resolute representation of Company Quality Goals in meetings with Contractor.
• Implements and manages the Construction Surveillance Program oversight of all pipeline activities at Site, overseeing Site Quality Inspection staff associated with pipeline activties.
• Preparation of weekly site quality reports.
• Maintains records of RFI Inspections, Weld Procedure & Welder Qualification activities, pipeline NDE records and oversight to demonstrate the ongoing compliance of the Contractor.
• Interfaces with exisiting Company Const. Superintendents and SHE Leads at Site
• Provide oversight to ensure that pipeline mechanical completion activties have been conducted and comply with project specifications and procedures.

• Interfaces with Project Team, EPC Contractor and Subcontractors on issues relating to the position. This requires effective communication, initiative, flexibility and an ability to induce collaboration.
• Exhibits team leadership skills, integrity, interpersonal understanding, and self-confidence

• Utilizes a systematic approach to problem solving that ensures accuracy, timeliness and quality of documentation in resolution.
• Able to work moderately complex tasks to completion within time constrains of Project, with minimal guidance from more experienced staff.
• Participates in the resolution of problems in more demanding and less familiar situations using precedent and own acquired knowledge

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
• Bachelor of Science in Engineering
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Good technical team skills
• Minimum of ten (10) years experience in in management of QC matters on onshore pipeline projects.
• Worldwide experience with contractors
