The Role:
Prime responsibilities are as follows:
• Demonstrate personal responsibility for the safety and well-being of everyone around them and full adherence to the Code of Conduct and to local laws and regulations,
• Advise the Site Construction Manager on all Quality construction issues,
• Provide weekly status report to the Project Quality Manager and Site Construction Manager on all QA/QC related activities or areas of concern at work site,
• Help implement the client’s Project Quality Program for construction phase,
• Monitoring the implementation, maintenance, and effectiveness of Quality processes applied by Construction Management Contractor and Fabrication Yard,
• Coordinate Fabrication Yard(s) client's inspection activities and manage the necessary resources required to meet the inspection and surveillance activities identified in the construction contractor Inspection & Test Plans (ITP) and the construction schedule.
• Conduct surveillances and monitor the quality of work at the Fabrication Yard(s),
• Perform construction site audits in accordance with Project Audit Program,
• Individually or in co-operation with Contractor/Subcontractor, perform project Quality inspections in accordance with requirements set forth by project documents,
• Report CARs and NCRs from inspections/audits and follow up to ensure proper closeout,
• Ensure approved communications protocol on Quality issues is used between himself/herself, Project Quality Manager, Site Construction Manager, and Contractor,
• Ensure Contractor and Subcontractor provides proper Quality Records and ensures that all relevant quality documentation, testing and inspection results are properly documented, complete and handed over in accordance with the information handover specification.
• Perform Supplier Quality Management activities to local vendors
• Capture of quality-related lessons for future projects and communication to Project team

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
• CSWIP 3.1, PCN Level 2 or AWS QC1 - Certified Welding Inspector (CWI).
• NACE Painting Inspector – Level 2
• ASNT Level 2
• Lead Auditor Training
