The Role:
As a Senior Project Planner your main duties will involve:

•Working with Multiple Stakeholders and delivering results through others.
•Ability to challenge and creatively seek out opportunities for performance improvement.
•Must be able to spend periods at operating sites and project management offices where the teams are working.
•Must have expertise of planning/scheduling process and tools.
•Experience in earned value process to implement in project effectively.
•Must have worked in multi discipline project environment in EPC or Operating Company.
•Experience in project execution of medium to large size of project, will be an added advantage.

The Senior Project Planner's principal tasks:

•To be part of Project Services team of Oil Sands Facility portfolio and responsible for planning/scheduling activities and implementation of earned value for accurate progress.
•Produce summary Level schedule for Portfolio.
•Review, comment and approve EPCM and contractor’s schedule.
•Maintain Integrated project schedule for each project and proactively highlight issues/concerns with mitigation to the management.
•Assess & verify contractor progress & productivity.
•Conduct planning session as per requirement for early phase of the project.
•Provide input to schedule risk analysis process.
•Provide support in Change management proces
