The Role:
• Liaise with Offshore Resources onshore and offshore management regarding development of competent personnel in relevant discipline to meet future and current needs of the business
• Ensure that personnel are in possession of the necessary current certification required for their discipline/position; liaising with respective Employee Services Centre regarding the booking of training/courses
• Liaising with relevant Employee Services Centre to advise and/or assist with issuing of contracts etc. and ensuring that personal details within relevant databases are maintained and up to date
• Work closely with the Vessel Coordination teams to deliver personnel to the vessels in a timely manner
• Liaise with relevant Offshore Resources Managers and Ships Operations Managers to plan and manage the assignment of senior offshore personnel to vessels.
• Monitor the forecast demand for offshore personnel, advise Offshore Resources management of predicted demand and manage Skillpool to deliver anticipated demand
• Deliver the Long Term Staffing Strategy and Recruiting Matrix for their skill pool to enable a mix of staff, day-rate and agency personnel to manage demand fluctuations at minimum cost.
• Actively manage the utilisation of staff, day rate, and agency personnel, including unused contracted days and excess days worked to minimise cost.
• Support relevant function in the recruitment and promotion of personnel through the development of role descriptions and assessing whether candidates meet the requirements of those descriptions.
• Authorise the call off of agency personnel as required. Provide feedback to the resourcing team regarding manning agency performance
• Maintains a record of deployment and experience for personnel within their skill pool
• Support Offshore Resources management and functions in ensuring Acergy develops cost competitive sources of personnel
• Responsible for cost control within area of responsibility and approval of invoices where relevant in line with Company policy.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
• Adaptable and pro-active with a structured and methodical approach to tasks, with ability to manage workflow and work under pressure
• Good understanding of Human Resources activities including contracts
• An understanding of the processes required to mobilise and travel personnel to international, offshore worksites (ticketing, visa, work permit, inoculations etc.)
• Strong administrative background/experience.
• Good understanding of the technical aspects of their assigned skill pool and the competencies required for offshore roles within it • Excellent planning, co-ordination and organisational skills.
• IT literate, proficient in the use of MS Office Suite, and have a good working knowledge of the in-house databases and systems used for tracking personnel and reporting.
• Well developed communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to deal with personnel at all levels
