The Company:
Our client is a global operator in the oil and gas sector.

The Role:
The Project Manager will be responsible for the delivery of the Intergraph SmartPlant for Owner Operators System including all associated hardware, software (SmartPlant P&IDs, Smart Marine 3D, SmartPlant Electrical, SmartPlant Instruments, SmartPlant Foundation) and hosting requirements. They would report to the Facilities Engineering Manager in Aberdeen with additional functional reporting to the IM Documentation & Data Manager and alignment with the requirements of the IS Program Manager in London. This role will act as a key link and communications conduit from Operations in Aberdeen, Capital Projects offices and to IS in London.

Key Responsibilities:
• To manage all components of the IEDMS, SPO project ensuring sign-off on business requirements as per the company PPMF, development of Functional design, recruiting or selecting project delivery team, building system and ensuring component testing, integration testing and UAT are carried out efficiently.
• To work with the business (Operations and Project) to ensure the correct SPO product set is selected and is sourced in a cost-efficient way avoiding purchase of unnecessary modules and licenses.
• To manage the interfaces to other key Operational IT projects, including but not limited to: CDMS (Livelink), Work Management System (Maximo), SAP, Permit to Work and Production Monitoring system and ensure interfaces to the other Operations projects work correctly.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
• Experience of having managed Intergraph SPO projects within the Oil and Gas exploration business or engineering, preferably interfaced to Livelink, Maximo and SAP systems.
• PRINCE2 or PMI certified and experienced project management skills
• Expert knowledge in the use and allocation of equipment tagging and their hierarchy requirements.
• A good knowledge of other industry specialist production/engineering systems such as, but not limited to, Maximo, PI, SAP etc
• Strong interpersonal and management skills, able to manage a small team.
• Background in IT and communications with strong technical knowledge and understanding
• Very strong communication skills to work from the very top to the very technical of the company
• Minimum ten years industry experience
