The Company:
A leading Australian coal seam gas explorer and producer focused on developing its world-class reserves for domestic and international supply.

The Role:
Fircroft have been asked to source a SME Controls & Instrumentation (Subject Matter Expert) to be part of the Engineering Team providing technical support and assurance activities to the project and asset.

• Work on a major LNG project for the owners team
• Permanent staff role with relocation packages available
• Excellent central Brisbane based location

The SME Control & Instrumentation will ensure that the Integrated Controls and Safety Systems are designed, constructed, installed, operated and maintained to company and industry standards.

Typically, the incumbent will work through all stages of the project lifecycle including design, pre-commissioning, commissioning, start-up and optimisation activities. You will do this whilst also support existing facilities.

Responsibilities:
• Manage the performance of engineering, construction, commissioning and operation activities relating to Process Control & Insturmentation Systems
• Provide management support to existing work currently being executed on the project
• To be a focal point for all Control & Instrument Engineering, to ensure the company is in line with international counterparts, industry bodies and technology providers in all areas of Controls & Instrumentation

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
• Tertiary qualifications in engineering, or equivalent years experience
• Experience in Control and Instrument design, construction & commissioning
• Experience of systems engineering processes
• Significant experience of developing and delivering a number of complex hydrocarbon or infrastructure projects

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
• Chartered member of relevant engineer institution
