The Company:
Our Client is an International Company involved in the supply of Energy globally. Their Operations cover Exploration, Production and Downstream and at present they have projects in over 25 Countries worldwide.
In Australia they are involved in one of the Country's largest LNG Projects, including both Gas and Condensate which is currently in Execution Stage.

The Role:
• Ensure all flow assurance chemicals such as wax and scale inhibitors toxicity is understood and environmentally acceptable.
• Assist in identifying project and FA risks and implement agreed mitigation measures as required.
• Provide guidance, input into Contractor FA deliverables. Review deliverables to ensure quality and work objectives have been met.
• Simulate OLGA sensitivity cases to ensure completeness of contractor deliverables.
• Participate in HAZID/ENVID/HAZOP's, Design Reviews, etc. as required
• Attend regular FA contractor technical meetings.
• Review and comment on Contractor / Supplier documentation in a timely manner.
• Review work of any specialty service providers required for FA design requirements- laboratory, specific software requirements.
• Provide technical flow assurance expertise and OLGA simulation modelling, document work as appropriate.
• Consult with project teams to solve critical problems relating to production, subsea facilities operation and subsea production systems design.
• Use multi-phase FA packages to perform production system analysis to solve operational problems.
• Contribute to the development of procedures for safe and effective start-up of subsea and topsides facilities.
• Advise and collaborate with external laboratories, research institutions and universities.
• Report to Lead FA Engineer on work scope progress and technical issues.
• Manage simulation software licenses and hardware so tools are adequate for workscope. Organize additional software and upgrades as required.
• Interface with systems team, EPC package teams, operations and onshore group.
• Work collaboratively within the organisation to achieve alignment on strategies and documentation required to achieve objectives

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
• Tertiary Engineering Degree
• 8-15 yrs. experience in Offshore Oil & Gas Facilities process and flow assurance designs.
• Experience of flow assurance activities for major capital projects-LNG projects preferred.
• Strong technical knowledge of flow assurance and production system engineering. Experienced user of OLGA, PIPESIM.NET and other flow simulation packages.
• Demonstrate commitment to HSE values. High awareness of safe working practices associated with design, construction, commissioning, installation and offshore hookup of Offshore Facilities
• Demonstrate commitment to values of sustainability and community relations.
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously
• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) and ability to work effectively with multi discipline teams on a range of problem solving activities.
