Our Client is an International Oil and Gas Operator involved in 2 of Australia's largest LNG Projects based in Western Australia. The person in this role will be responsible to the Mechanical Team Lead for ensuring the mechanical integrity of equipment is protected against corrosion and erosion.
The primary areas of responsibility shall be finalisation of Coating Manual, Welding Management Manual, support of major Maintenance in terms of workpack development, IMPACT implementation, and support of QA requirements for purchase of spares.
The role will be remote from the facility and will require high level of skills in communications and remote diagnostics.
There are a number legislative requirements for the plant, safety case requirements and environmental commitments that the role will need to understand to ensure that effective materials support in terms of risk based inspection and integrity Operating Windows is given.
Will provide professional engineering and advice to maintenance and production team for two major projects
Essential Skills / Qualifications:
BS (Materials Engineering) or equivalent experience
10+ years in oil and gas sector, with knowledge of maintenance and inspection of mechanical equipment. person needs to be familiar with integrity operating windows, materials selection and be computer literate
Ability to liaise with engineering and maintenance personnel
