The Role:
Support HOP on daily basis operation and providing operation to offshore management team to ensure smooth operations, safe working environment and meeting KPI and cost allocation.

• Review SISO, verify and lead the close-out of audits, lead and verify HSE plans, lead and evaluate findings as a member in incident investigations and verify and lead the close-out of HSE case/CIMAH to ensure the effective and efficient implementation of site HSE plans as per HSEMS and regulatory requirements
Operational Risk Management :
• Verify the findings of HAZOP sessions for all non-routine activities. Confirm the completeness of the list of possible failure modes of process and utility equipment.
• Verify the accuracy of proposed mitigation steps for safety issues arising from loss of containment, pressure and temperature excesses, and the flammability hazards associated with hydrocarbon processing.
• Audit on an annual basis the completeness of documentation relative to the corporate requirement and documentation for Permit To Work (PTW), General Procedures for Simultaneous Operations (GPSO), Specific Instructions for Simultaneous Operations (SISO), Management Of Change (MOC), Facility Improvement Proposal (FIP), MTJA Procedures and Guidelines for Upstream Activities (PPO), etc.
• Provide input when above requirements are subject to periodical reviews for currency and effectiveness.
Incident Investigation
• Lead technically challenging incident investigations. Endorse technical accuracy of incident report. Verify root cause analysis of technically challenging incidents. Recommend implementation of industry’s best practices when relevant.
Management of Process Variables
Review the ideal process variables on an annual basis or immediately following any relevant FIP, modify and implement changes as required, thus ensuring that the performance remains optimised on an aging facility
Routine Process Operations
• Review the process operations performance trending system on an annual basis or immediately following any relevant FIP, modify and implement changes as required, to ensure that the system remains fit-for-purpose
Documentation Management
• Audit on an annual basis, engineering drawings and standing operating procedures to ensure that they continue to reflect “As- Built” conditions.
Codes and Standards Management
• Plan, coordinate and participate in audits and site inspections to ensure that the codes and standards approved are being implemented, during the design, fabrication and commissioning phases.
Cost Management
• Lead the implementation of annual WPB/CPB activities (OPEX, CAPEX and G&A) against approved budget based on company HSE strategies and objectives.
People Management
• Monitor personal development plan. Identify best practices and lessons learnt for information sharing. Undertake research to continuously enhance knowledge in relevant work areas.
Stakeholder Management
• Lead joint working teams to resolve specific issues on as needed basis.
Contaminants Control Management
• Provide solutions to the operating team when the management of contaminants such as mercury, carbon dioxide, hydrogen sulphide etc. requires changing due to the trending of sampling results
• Audit records of compliance with the procedures for handling and disposing of all hazardous waste in accordance with regulatory and corporate requirements.
• Provide solutions to the operations team for minimising mercury content, Effluent Discharge Quality (EDQ), noise exposure etc.
Contracting and Procurement
• Ensure all the contract is in place as per Master Procurement Plan (MPP) in ensuring uninterrupted services to the operations.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineering
• 5-8 years experience in Operations especially upstream operation
• Engineering expertise in Process facilities design and operation and broad knowledge of other disciplines
• Supervisory skills, team-leading ability, knowledge in project management
• Proven interest in keeping abreast of technical developments and industry trends
• Good communication skills to liaise with other discipline specialists
• Knowledge in contract and procurement activities
