The Role:
•In co-ordination with Sub-surface, Production and Reservoir engineering, identify long term enhancement projects that have potential to add value to the SNS.
•Own and maintain Gas Compression Strategy and Gas Blend Quality process models.
•Liaise with and provide Development Engineering support to Sub-surface, Drilling and Production Optimisation teams in delivery of company equity production opportunities.
•Liaise with and provide Development Engineering support to Planning teams (PIM) in delivery of 3rd party production opportunities, through FEL 0/1 phases.
•Maintain portfolio of strategic production opportunities.
•Ensure strategic production assumptions are recorded and communicated with Sub-surface team.
•Chair regular subsurface, engineering and drilling update meetings.
•Ensure approved strategic production projects are included within Asset Integrated Long Range Plan and budget.
•Liaise with Engineering & Projects group to specify and develop modification projects.
•Act as the Operating Unit Project Sponsor for projects executed by the EPC contractor and which relate to the Gas Compression Strategy.
•Represent the company and give technical presentations at regular Operating/Technical Committee Meetings with co-venturers and third party operators.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
•Safety/environmental awareness – understanding of legislative requirements.
•Technical awareness – Chartered Engineer or similar experience. Proven Process Engineering ability with experience of Project Engineering/Project Management roles. Understanding of Subsurface, Mechanical, Systems, Electrical and Instrumentation disciplines.
•Commercial awareness – understanding of production optimisation and contractual arrangements with partners and vendors.
•Ability to lead and manage multi-discipline teams in the development and delivery of engineering solutions.
•Ability to communicate and work closely with the wide diversity of operational, engineering, consultancy and management groups involved in the Operating Unit.
