The Company:
Our Client is a privately owned upstream oil and gas exploration and production company.

The Role:
POSITION: Social Corporate Responsibility Specialist
REPORTS TO: In Country Value Manager
SHARED VISION: Client will be a major Hydrocarbon Producer In Oman



• Serve as internal expert and external representative on CSR issues. Benchmark competition and industry best practices.
• Craft CSR plans and work with relevant internal stakeholders to implement them. Manage and track goals and metrics.
• Manage and Exucue CSR project, report progress, closure and lessons learned.
• Manage CSR reporting process, working with other departments to collect social and environmental data.
• Manage and update CSR database, contact list, and all related documentation.
• Take primary responsibility for maintaining a internal and external CSR content on the web portals.
• Identify and implement sponsorships with nonprofit and other organizations to demonstrate commitment externally.
• Make public presentations and represent client on external boards. Work with external communications and other parties to pursue appropriate public relations, marketing, recognition & awards to validate client efforts.
• Assist in developing and communicate corporate-wide social responsibility policies and procedures that are in line with O&G best practices and regulatory requirements
• Assist with developing training and engagement programs to educate internal and external stakeholders on our social policies and Code of Conduct labor standards, management systems, regulatory requirements, and O&G best practices
• Manage data collection and assist with developing content for quarterly and bi-annual reporting including social performance highlights, case studies, and graphs
• Coordinate with internal sourcing, and operations teams to align goals and strategies
• Provide support to the country our Corporate Giving Program that includes product donations, employee donations, and community service activities
• Perform other related duties as required

Essential Skills / Qualifications:

Basic Job Requirements
• Bachelor’s Degree in sustainable business, social responsibility, international trade, supply chain, or business related filed.
• Prefer 2 – 3 years’ experience in social responsibility, sustainability, or Customer Service.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong interpersonal skills Self-motivated with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
• Excellent project planning and organization abilities
• Continuous improvement philosophy
• Proficient skills in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Power Point
• Ability to travel internally or locally
