The Company:
Our client is an Engineering and Science based company supplying advanced automated systems, specialising in robotic applications. As a result of continued growth they are currently looking to recruit a Software Engineer to work at their offices in Runcorn on a Permanent / Staff basis

The Role:
The Software Engineer is required to work as part of a multidiscipline team using skills to specify design, implement, commission and test robotic applications controlled using C#.NET software

It is expected that the Software Engineer is able to develop technical solutions to meet project and customer expectations

The successful application for the Software Engineer role must be willing to travel on occasion in the UK, Europe and USA

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
It is expected that the Software Engineer will be proficient with C#.NET and also have previous experience with applications development in a machine control environment

Candidates for the Software Engineer role should have knowledge of data base applications, ideally oracle

The Software Engineer should be qualified to degree level in electronic/electrical engineering or computer science equivalent

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
Applicants for the software engineer role with knowledge of GAMP will be preferred as will those with previous experience of ABB/ Staubli/ Motorman robot arm software applications
