The Company:
Our client is a "super-major" international oil and gas operator.

The Role:
. It is accountable to deliver a complete and ready-to-use spare parts program of the projects. Specific activities and deliverables include:
• Work with and monitor EPC Contractors and Suppliers to ensure that complete spare parts and materials data is delivered in accordance with contractual requirements, including data quality, completeness, and schedule
• Tender and manage the Material Cataloguing Contract, and ensure the delivery of a complete Maximo materials catalogue for new facilities and equipment
• Select and set stocking levels for spares in accordance with technical and economic requirements, including the use of reliability and economic analysis techniques where needed
• Organise and lead stock level reviews with maintenance personnel at ROO, Suppliers, and Ops Readiness team members
• Track and control spare parts and materials commitments vs. approved budgets
• Interface with the ROO Materials Management/Maximo team to establish data requirements, and to coordinate data handover
• Interface with the Maintenance and Inspection Build Contractors for data interchange, as needed
• Provide input to the PreOps Budget and OPEX forecasts as needed
• Coordinate all other Operations Readiness materials requirements with PSCM

The successful candidate must be able to approach this work from the combined standpoints of maintenance, reliability, economics, and materials management.
This position will initially be posted in the UK, but will potentially migrate to the UAE as project engineering locations are finalised.
The goal is to ensure that materials data is complete in Maximo, and that all necessary spare parts and materials to support long-term operations are in controlled stock before startup of the projects. This post is key to making that happen.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
• Extensive experience in maintenance planning and execution in a primary maintenance discipline (M/E/I)
• Understanding of and ability to apply economic analysis and reliability engineering concepts, including associated software
• Working knowledge of Maximo or other computerised materials management system
• Proven experience in managing contractors
• Previous experience in managing the spare parts data and provisioning efforts on a major oil and gas project
• An engineering degree would be a strong advantage in this post, but it is not mandatory

• Previous experience of working within a multi-cultural and multi-discipline environment
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to deliver exceptional results in difficult project environments
• Ability to relocate as required in accordance with Project requirements
• Frequent business travel may be required as necessitated by EPC contractor work locations
