The Company:
Our Client is a world leading Automotive OEM which is responsible for some of the most iconic 4x4's & Sports Cars produced. Due to the huge demand for current models and substantial investment in future projects there is a requirement for more resources across the business in engineering & manufacturing on a contract basis.

The Role:
(SVO) operates as a nimble business within a business and is focused towards increasing profitability through leveraging our customers desire to personalize their vehicles.

Key strategic elements include:
•Pushing the boundaries of the brands to create high premium niche halo performance & luxury vehicles.
•Developing a range of option packs to enhance the sporting and lifestyle attributes of our vehicle range
•Enhancing the premium customer experience through vehicle personalisation and exclusivity As a Technical Analyst within Special Vehicle Operations (SVO) Division you will be responsible for a variety of technically biased tasks, working to support engineers and managers.
•You will need to work with personnel from other departments and functions and possibly with external companies.
•You may be assigned to work in one of our specialised engineering teams including Chassis, Vehicle Engineering, Exterior Body & Trim, Interior Body & Trim, Vehicle Accessories, Electrical. Functional Trim, depending on your interests, aptitudes and skills.

Skills Required:

1.Knowledge of general engineering principles relevant to the design, development, testing and manufacture of technically engineered products.

2.Working knowledge of systems and tools used to develop engineering solutions eg CAD, CAE, FMEA, DFA.

3.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills essential to liaising with a number of internal and external parties, and carrying out a range of work tasks. PC Fluent (Email, Word, Excel, Powerpoint)


As a Technical Analyst within Special Vehicle Operations (SVO) Division you will be responsible for a variety of technically biased tasks, working to support engineers and managers. Functional Trim, depending on your interests, aptitudes and skills.

Experience Required:
"Knowledge of the design and development of new automotive products. Knowledge of product development systems used in the automotive industry. Knowledge of quality tools used in industrial applications eg. DVP, FMEA, DFA, Robustness Knowledge of issue tracking and release systems eg. BOM, AIMS, WERS Knowledge of vehicle homologation requirements Working knowledge of project planning tools eg MS Project Good working knowledge of manufacturing processes, particularly tooling methods and lead-times. Good working knowledge of materials used in modern vehicles ( eg. plastics, metals, composites and paint). Working knowledge of product costing and pricing methods"


Education Required:
It is anticipated candidates with be educated to Degree Level in a relevant engineering or science based subject, or HNC/ HND with significant experience.


Additional Information :
Candidates must be flexible, and capable of, supporting business activities at other sites, although the role will be Fen End based
