The Company:
Our client is a mjor oil and gas Operating Company in the State of Qatar

The Role:
Key Result Areas:
• Establish and ensures compliance with the Company Project Management System to complete all Gate 2 deliverables, e.g. :
o Project Objective Statement
o Project Development Memorandum (Design Basis)
o Early Project Execution Plans

This requires leading the evaluation & integration with multiple stakeholder needs, technical options, project execution drivers, risk, economics etc.
• Coordinate, review and mentor engineering contractor work to establish Gate 2 deliverables.
• Co-ordinates and support the development of Master Planning Documents, and the management /maintenance of these documents and any changes according to Management of Change procedures via the company’s Future Development Assumption process. These include critical documents like Field Development Plans, Feed Gas Composition, Material Balance & Block Flow Diagrams, Product Specifications, Overall Utility Requirements, Site Utilization Plans, etc., which form the bases for the company projects, operations, shipping and marketing activities.
• Co-ordinates and support the preparation of a variety of special feasibility reports which rely on department’s expertise and analytical tools – this includes investigation into ventures directly associated with LNG and sales gas production, (i.e. Helium, Jetty Flare recovery, Optimization of Terms of Reference (TOR).)
• Co-ordinate and supports the development of Technical and Economic analysis for a variety of Business opportunities.
o Proposed capital investment for new expansion projects;
o Proposed capital project investment within existing operating plant
• Lead and/or participate in multifunctional teams.
• Prepares/ Provides technical input for Venture weekly and monthly reports for projects.

• Utilizes a systematic approach to problem solving that ensures accuracy, timeliness and quality of documentation in resolution.
• Able to work moderately complex tasks to completion within time constrains of Project, with minimal guidance from more experienced staff.
• Participates in the resolution of problems in more demanding and less familiar situations using precedent and own acquired knowledge.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
• BS Chemical Engineering
• Extensive technical design knowledge and operational experience of LNG/ gas plant business.
• Strong knowledge and capabilities in process engineering, plant design engineering, risk assessment, project scoping/development for process plants and offshore facilities.
• Knowledge of project execution practices and procedures.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Good supervisory and mentoring skills.
• Ability to work independently for effective interface and coordination with all entities (internal & external) and upward reporting to management.
• Ability to perform multiple tasks with adaptability to change in work scope and time constraints.
• Effective interpersonal skills with ability and commitment to interdisciplinary teamwork.
• Effective ability to adapt to a multinational environment with wide exposure to various cultures and customs.
