The Company:
Our Client is a world leading Automotive OEM which is responsible for some of the most iconic 4x4's & Sports Cars produced. Due to the huge demand for current models and substantial investment in future projects there is a requirement for more resources across the business in engineering & manufacturing on a contract basis.

The Role:
The contract is to work on a project to establish the feasibility of a sensorless aftertreatment system (or to propose a heavily thrifted system within control system, legislative and safety constraints). The project engineer will develop an exhaust system thermal model and through exercising this model establish the minimum sensor count in aftertreatment system. The set of requirements will be developed and tracked through a requirements database. An additional requirement is to monitor the current development exhaust system sensor tracking sheet.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Systems engineering, modelling (using MATLAB/SIMULINK), an appreciation of safety concepts. At least two years post graduate experience within an industrial environment using modelling and simulation tools.
