The Company:
Our Client is a world leading Automotive OEM which is responsible for some of the most iconic 4x4's & Sports Cars produced. Due to the huge demand for current models and substantial investment in future projects there is a requirement for more resources across the business in engineering & manufacturing on a contract basis.

The Role:
Vehicle NVH Engineer - Airborne Noise Specialist to support future model lines.

This position will be responsible for leading and completing the development of acoustic pack and airborne noise attenuation, and delivering that acoustic pack on a vehicle through the launch process. We are looking for an experienced NVH engineer to join an established JLR team to increase our capability to deliver a wider range of vehicle programs. The delivery of acoustic pack is a critical building block for the delivery of NVH performances for wind noise and powertrain and road NVH, whilst ensuring efficient strategies are employed to support weight and cost requirements. The successful candidate will have an in depth knowledge of NVH principles and techniques and a proven track record in acoustic pack delivery, primarily for airborne noise. The candidate must be capable of working both in a team and under own initiative and be prepared to document findings, make recommendations along with the ability to influence component areas.

Skills & Experience Required:
Minimum of 3 years NVH experience Demonstration of ability to solve NVH Acoustic Pack issues at a vehicle level and turn these findings into solutions. NVH testing and analysis of vehicles with specific focus on Acoustic Pack to include experience of :- airborne tyre noise measurement and data analysis bulkhead acoustic transfer function measurement and data analysis body sealing optimisation and Equivalent Body Hole Size testing UK driving licence. Degree Level in an Engineering related discipline.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Aeroacoustic Wind Tunnel Testing Experience of LMS testlab for data acquisition and analysis. Experience of Artemis for data acquisition and analysis.
